Advances in Numerical Methods for Linear and Non-Linear Dynamics

The objective of this symposium is to discuss new advances in numerical methods for linear and non-linear dynamics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: new implicit and explicit time-integration methods for structural dynamics, wave propagation and impact problems; new space-time methods for dynamical systems; methods with reduced dispersion; filtering spurious oscillations; adaptive methods and space and time error estimators, application of new numerical methods to, in particular but not exclusively, engineering dynamics problems.
